This CPB is revised to state that acupuncture is considered medically necessary for treatment of chronic neck pain and chronic headache. This CPB has been revised to state that acupuncture is considered experimental and investigational for allergies, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), menopausal hot flashes, nocturnal enuresis, post-traumatic stress disorder, pruritus, and tic disorders.
