This CPB is revised to state that MRI-lymphangiography is considered medically necessary for the evaluation of peripheral lymphedema when lymphedema is a suspected cause of peripheral edema and initial noninvasive studies, such as ultrasound, are negative.

This CPB has been revised to remove the age requirement (18 years or older) from whole-body MRI for screening of malignancy in adults with Li-Fraumeni syndrome.
