This CPB has been revised to state that the Advance System (an adjustable tongue-advancement device), partial glossectomy, the Provent sleep apnea therapy, and tongue base reduction surgery are considered experimental and investigational for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea because their effectiveness has not been established.
