This CPB has been revised to state that gadofosveset trisodium (Vasovist Injection) is considered an acceptable agent for medically necessary contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography of blood vessels in the abdomen and lower extremities in adults. This policy is supported by the FDA-approved indications for Vasovist.
