This new CPB states that (i) autologous stem cell transplantation is considered medically necessary as salvage treatment for chemo-sensitive Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, and (ii) allogeneic stem cell transplantation is considered experimental and investigational for the treatment of Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia.
